The Warren County Special Services School District senior high school Behavior Disabilities classroom is located at the Warren County Technical School in Washington, NJ. The ages range from 14 to 21 years old. The freshman through senior level consists of BD, SLD, ED, and MD students. School hours are 8:02am to 2:58pm. The self contained class provides individual and small group instruction in English, Basic Math, Practical Math, Algebra I & II, Geometry, US History I & II, World Cultures & Geography, Earth Science, Life Science, Biology, and Physical Science.
The program is designed to provide strong academic and social support. Students receive academic instruction according to their IEP following the New Jersey Guidelines for Core Curriculum Content Standards. The program consists of a strong daily behavior modification program. A district counselor provides a structured counseling component to the program consisting of both individual and group counseling sessions as per student’s IEP.
Upon acceptance into the WCSSSD program, the student will be interviewed by Warren County Technical School for the Career Academy of their choice:

A Career Academy Program Booklet is available upon request at Warren County Technical School. All students are initially mainstreamed into a Career Academy, Physical Education, Health, and Lunch. Mainstreamed academics are assigned when deemed appropriate for the student and as per their IEP. Students also participate in all Tech school wide activities and field trips. Students are encouraged to participate in after school activities, tutoring, and sports.
